While there is les Invalides, la Tour Eiffel, and a plethora of museums in this arrondissement, the two major things that were accomplished in the sweltering heat were le Musée d'Orsay with the exposition on le Modèle Noir and then the Musée Rodin.
Standing right in front of all this beautiful art is a gift but experiencing it in Paris makes it so much more intense. You'll walk out of a museum or an art gallery and you are still in the middle of beauty and rich history. The sliced view of d'Orsay is something else!
