So far, this has been my most favorite arrondissement. It felt so utterly diverse, and real: the center of transportation into Paris in the past and the present. Train stations, canals, metros, and buses populate the streets which themselves are full of life. An array of cultures fill up the senses. It is hard to find the right words, but all I know is that I need to go back.

But because it is a place of migration, it is the center of a crisis pertaining to those who want to come, who wish they had a place to live, who are looking for opportunities, etc.

The list of things is as follows: La Colonie, Gare du Nord, Gare de l'Est, Canal Saint-Martin, and Porte Saint-Martin.
